FAMILY WEEKEND AT A GLANCE
This is a summary schedule of our signature events taking place throughout the weekend. For more details and information about events hosted by academic units, student organizations, and other UGA departments, please download the Welcome to UGA app.
Note: Access to all events is included with your registration unless otherwise indicated as ticketed. Some events, as noted below, may strongly encourage an RSVP to help us plan for capacity. Nametags are required for entry to all events and will be provided at check-in.

Send your student or anyone else in your party to pick up and collect your welcome kit which includes event lanyards, nametags, and other Family Weekend swag. Anyone arriving after 8PM can pick up their welcome kit Friday morning.

Need an easy dinner after check-in? Food trucks from around town will be ready to serve you! Tate Hall dining options will also be available.

TEE TIME
Before 3:30 PM | UGA Golf Course
Set on the rolling terrain of northeast Georgia, this par 71 Robert Trent Jones layout is widely regarded as one of the best university courses in the United States. Families playing with their students will be granted the University Rate! To reserve a tee time in advance, please call the Golf Shop at 706-369-5739 and identify yourself as a Family Weekend attendee. If your plans change, please notify the Golf Shop as soon as possible so they can reopen your tee time. The last tee time offered on this day is 3:36. There are also options on Saturday after 12 PM, and Sunday all day.
Butts-Mehre Heritage Hall Tour
Open 8 AM – 5 PM | UGA Athletic Association
Named for coaches Wallace Butts and Harry Mehre, Butts-Mehre Heritage Hall is ground zero for the UGA Athletic Association. Relive the greatest moments in Georgia sports history, recall favorite UGA athletes, see Herschel Walker’s Heisman trophy and other memorabilia, and the Dooley Sculpture Garden. All Georgia’s sports, both men’s and women’s, are celebrated in this Heritage Museum. Note: Tour may be limited as UGA Football prepares for the game!

UNIVERSITY WELCOME BRUNCH
10 – 11:30AM | Tate Grand Hall
The University of Georgia wants to officially welcome families to campus with Bulldog spirit, photo opportunities, and remarks from President Morehead, Vice President for Student Affairs – Dr. Michelle Cook, and others. We want to honor and celebrate our student supporters, so this event is for family members only! You will meet up with your student right after for the rest of the weekend!
CAMPUS OPEN HOUSE
12 – 6PM | Locations & Times Vary by Event
During this time our academic units, student organizations, and other campus departments will host events for their students and their families. Events may be an open house, faculty meet & greet, guest lecture, etc so that you have the chance to experience and interact with the faculty, staff and student leaders that your Bulldog connects with every day! Some events may be invite only and information will be shared directly from those departments or your student. We will also post event details here as we learn more.

8:30 & 11AM | Sanford Stadium – West End Zone
For our families who registered for our VIB (“Very Important Bulldog”) package. This event will be an opportunity for our biggest bulldog fan to get special access to athletic venues. There will be a light brunch, tour of the game day locker room, and more! Menu will be shared soon. Families will be notified of their entrance time closer to the event.

It may be an away game, but we are bringing the game to you! Learn about UGA athletic traditions in the Family Fun Zone, enjoy a BBQ buffet, and get ready to watch the Bulldog vs Bulldog matchup! Doors open 30 minutes before kickoff.
